Visual Art
I consider myself a music professional above all else, valuing my increasingly diverse range of experience in the sonic arts.
I was not always intent on working with sound. I seriously considered everything from computer science to ornithology. Ultimately, it was my perspective that was wrong; always considering myself with what was practical, I seldom considered simply doing what made me happiest. The idea simmered throughout my stay at community college, but once that realisation finally hit, I finally felt real certainty on the horizon.
After several years of only doing music production work, I saw my range of interests and skills expand dramatically during university. Increasingly, I found myself in the role of a technician as well as working with multi-media projects. Going into university, I had a vague notion that I would enjoy working with sound no matter what the role was; leaving university, however, I know this to be the case.
